Sippican Capital Advisors is an independently owned Registered Investment Advisor located in Boston Massachusetts whose purpose is to provide personal, active, and client-oriented investment management of financial assets.

Gordon C. Barrett

President

Mr. Barrett is currently the President, CFO and CCO of Sippican Capital Advisors, LLC. He is also an Executive Vice President and CFO of Northeast Investors Trust, an open-end mutual fund focused on high-yield corporate bonds.

Prior to founding Sippican Capital Advisors, Mr. Barrett was Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Northeast Investment Management, Inc. where he managed portfolios for individuals, families and institutional clients. In addition, Mr. Barrett was a Senior Vice President, CFO and CCO of Northeast Investors Growth Fund. He also served as Portfolio Manager and CCO of Northeast Management and Research, Inc. where he assisted in the management of the Northeast Investors Growth Fund, an open-end growth oriented mutual fund.

Mr. Barrett graduated from Hartwick College with a B.A.

George C. Barrett​

Vice President, Analyst and Portfolio Manager​

Mr. Barrett provides both equity and fixed-income research in the support of the management of client portfolios. His primary responsibilities are analyst and portfolio manager, in doing so he works with families and individuals.

Mr. Barrett graduated from St. Lawrence University with a B.A. and holds an M.B.A. from Babson College.

 

Chapin Mechem​

CFA, Vice President and Analyst

Ms. Mechem provides both equity and fixed-income research in the support of the management of client portfolios. She also is a research analyst for Northeast Investors Trust where she specializes in the area of high-yield bonds.

Ms. Mechem graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A. and holds an MBA from Boston College. 

Bruce H. Monrad​

Vice President and Analyst​

Mr. Monrad provides both equity and fixed-income research in the support of the management of client portfolios. His primary responsibility is lead portfolio manager of Northeast Investors Trust- a high-yield bond mutual fund.

Mr. Monrad graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
